Replacement Card

FNB called me to upgrade my Credit card to a Platinum one as I had a Platinum Cheque Card and they were standardizing fee structures across the Platinum range. I agreed to upgrade. Received new card. Changed PIN, but the PIN update didnt seem to work. Called contact centre who advised that it card is probably faulty and would need to be replaced. But FNB said I would need to pay for this. ONE, FNB wanted to upgrade me and TWO, This is a new and faulty card from the start. How does this make sense? You call me and I must pay for your mess ups?
