Regret Choosing FNB
I wanted to open an acc with FNB the account was opened for me but could not be activated due to the fact that i lost my ID i was advised to get a new ID before i can be assisted i tried but to do so they want my mothers copy of ID as my mom passed away when i was 3 i don't have anything like that they wanted death certificate i don't have that she died when i was 3 how must i know now what happened to her death certificate!!! So they refused to accept my passport even though the financial intelligence centre act clearly states that an alternative document can be used as long as my name surname photo date of birth and ID number is on there which is all on the passport but no not good enough i then was advised to get a temporary ID and affidavit i did this and everything was activated now i get a sms stating that it's not suffice and the account will be frozen in 30 days what do you want from me i have done all I can!! Do you want new clients or not my salary pays in that acc now and my debit orders now you want to freeze it because even what the act says is not good enough for you!!! If you not going to help me just say so! Why did i leave Absa
