Refuse to payout pension fund

My late sister was an employee of FNB for 13 years and due to ill health she went on early retirement. She passed last year November and when we queried about her pension fund, we were informed that her pension fund was exhausted.

On discovering letters from FNB pension fund that was distributed in May 2017 that states pension fund of FNB retirees is ceased and on the death of a pensioner the beneficiary will receive a 75% of the pension ceased after 5 years.

On request of information, no response was received.

We are now in the process of taking legal action as we have written proof of a retired pension fund issued by FNB Pension Fund.
