Refund to card missing, FNB not assisting

Had a business account with fnb and did a paypal transaction on my card link to the business account. Later in January I closed the business account, but later in February the transaction from Paypal was refunded to the card I used, Paypal confirmed the transaction was refunded to the card and was successful, Paypal gave me a trace number to request FNB to locate the fund, but I have been struggling to get any assistance from FNB, I have called numerous time and send email to *** but no response. Paypal said the transaction was not rejected but FNB is not helping to locate the fund, my money is just vanish in FNB black hole.
