Refund ridiculous

Good day

I have been struggling with FNB for 23 business days to get a refund which was paid in error. In the last 8 business days I've received the same excuse 4 times.

They might have a lot of money but for an everyday person as myself losing the amount of money out of your cash flow as I have puts you in a very difficult financial situation. Especially in this time due to the Virus. Today is the second day that I can not buy basic groceries as milk and bread.

Yesterday I was told the team leader would contact me before end of business day. I have not received any communication and the story is the same. "We are attending to the matter."

24 business days, waiting for refund which is not there money. Struggling to understand what could possibly be the hold up. As easy as a transfer.

A bank with now idea of what the repercussions is of their unhelpfulness. Guess it's a situation of they just don't care.

Currently on hold with FNB for a hour and 10 minutes. Seems that the way to treat a client is to hang up so that the consultant can pass the issue to the next person answering. Probably going to keep me on hold until closing time.

I will make it my priority for FNB to lose clients if this is the way they treat their clients.

Will definitely close my Business account with them. Only reaction I get from them is through this platform, and you can't even call it a reaction as nothing happens.

Team leader of Debt Review Department is clearly *********** in their work. How difficult is it to refund the money to the account it came from or transfer it to my business account so I can do it for you as you are clearly unable to complete this simple task.

Don't know which team leader it is between Cherelle Smith or Berniek Morris? But your consultants have promised me that you would call me on 4 different occasions? Still waiting for the phone call.

At 16h30 you go home and just don't care about the clients you leave in financial difficulties due to your own incompetence. How does someone in a call Centre be held accountable for this?

Luckily the wheel is round and it turns. FNB/Wesbank don't ever call me again for money I owe you as you've made it clear, in your system it's acceptable to keep money which is not yours.

I will make sure you lose clients whether it's just me or 1 000's

So after I was put on hold for two hours the call was dropped. Unsure whether it's from their side or my side.

Impeccable service FNB.
