Refund on paid up loan

I paid up a personal loan on the 22 of July on one of fnb branches with the purpose of closing the account. To my surprise the account was not closed as it was overpaid. I've been trying to get the refund so I can close it, up to now I'm not winning. I've been phoning, going to the branch but didn't get any help.
