Refund for payment made to FNB closed account

My bank is refusing to refund my money I paid to someone on the 28/05/2024.I used the pay2cell payment to correct cellphone number but unfortunately the account is closed.We have been battling to allocate the funds the bank has been sending us from pillar to post.Everytime I call am given a new reference and there's no record of previous calls.Nobody is assisting us and the recipient contacts them they also give her the same stories.The amount of R1305.00 is a lot to just leave this hanging and branch just puts me through to the call center nobody taking accountability am frustrated.Please help me I have been battling for the longest time.
