Refund
Due to COVID-19 I did not receive a full salary. I made arrangements for my loan, on a one month basis only, to not be debited at the end of April and my loan amount then divided for the next 3 months to be paid on top of the normal loan amount. April my loan amount was debited. At the end of May my loan plus the ‘extra’ that was supposed to be taken from April was debited. On the 29th of May I went into the branch and had the debit order disputed. I was told that it would take between 5-7 days. I still have not received the refund. Last week I received a call from FNB lawyers for money that I owe you and I am expected to pay before the end of the day. Kindly explain how you take my money with no authorisation, your organisation then disturbs me at work for money I ‘owe’ you, when you put me in this position in the first place. Why is it that when I ‘owe’ you money I am expected to pay immediately, but when FNB has taken mine I have to wait more than the allocated time for my refund and go to these measures for my refund. With a lack of income at the moment, you use my money at your disposal, putting me further into debt because other debit orders have bounced.
Someone, before the end of business must contact me, refund my money with immediate effect and reverse the fees of the debit orders that have bounced, as well with immediate effect. If I have had no contact by then, this will be taken further.
