Rediculous

On Thursday last week I went to the FNB branch to apply for my personal loan (after receiving numerous calls and sms's) the consultant said i am pre approved, so I will be able to get a loan. I then app**** for much less than what they wanted to give me, I signed all the relevant paperwork and the consultant said it should be in my account by the end of the day. The next week Monday I still haven't received anything so I went back into the Branch to find out what happened. I was told they declined my loan. The Branch manager then told me that their systems work independently from their head office so this can still happen. How can you approve my loan, I sign it off and then you decline it in the same breath? I made plans, thinking I am getting the loan and now I'm sitting with nothing but empty promises.
