Recently moved, and so far, pretty underwhelmed & considering a move, there must be decent service somewhere!

So, my now previous bank has wasted my TIME on a number of occasions, and I find them generally arrogant in their approach, and have been considering a move for a while.

I researched a move, and was down to two, with FNB being one. I went to the branch, opened the relevant products, and:

EBucks is not automatic, and there is no single point of information given for the hoops you need jump through, at least this was never provided to me.

So I went onto the FNB webiste, no rewards as takes time to reflect. So I waited and went on when I had time again, no rewards, you need to install the mobile app as a condition, so when I got time, I did this. Back onto the website, no rewards, called them, no, I now need to get an ebucks card, takes 21 working days in the post, or I can get from checkers. So when I got time, went & stood in the queue, no, checkers no longer carry the card. So, when I get time, call ebucks, again, no, the card is in the dot store, so when I got time, I went and chased this. To the guts of two months, and a fair amount of effort on my part to get onto the rewards program, not exactly stellar from a service perspective.

I have also corrected the credit accounts, whereby I was pretty explicit that I consider garages as a risk and won't use my cards there, and wanted a DEDICATED garage card with a relatively low credit limit, which I was told it was, but nope, a call to the call center said this wasn't the case, so I have also had to repair that by way of ordering another DEDICATED petrol card.

Now, today, I am on the 25th of the month, which for many including myself, is pay day. I have hell of a week coming up, so wanted the bills paid, and guess what, on the twenty fifth of the month, "certain functionality" is not available, which given my frustration at trying to find it for the last hour, I presume this includes the adding of receipients.

I am paying for "private bankers" that given my experience so far, draw a salary and use oxygen...and little else, timeergo moving the banking myself, but now even the tool is unavailable.

There is a trend here, it is more timewasting, which is something I can't abide.

I do hope I receive a call, but if the call is useless i.e. offers nothing to fix the situation, please don't waste more of my time by calling with something like a lame apology, I need this fixed. If this isn't the case, I know I need to go look elsewhere for a bank with basic competence levels in their staff through adequate training on their products, even if it isn't flashy.
