RE: FAILURE TO UPDATE MY CREDIT PROFILE AND LACK OF PROOF OF COMMUNICATION WITH CREDIT BUREAUS

RE: FAILURE TO UPDATE MY CREDIT PROFILE AND LACK OF PROOF OF COMMUNICATION WITH CREDIT BUREAUS

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with your ongoing failure to update my credit profile, despite multiple communications, confirmations, and follow-ups. Your institution has failed to provide any evidence of engagement with the credit bureaus, although you confirmed in 2024 that such communication had taken place. To date, my profile remains unchanged.

It is now March 2025, and the false, outdated, and damaging information on my credit profile continues to affect both my business and personal life. I have lost numerous opportunities, faced denied applications, and suffered reputational damage—all as a result of your negligence and failure to take corrective action within a reasonable timeframe.

I hereby demand the following, with immediate effect: 1. That my credit profile be fully updated and corrected with the relevant credit bureaus today, 24 March 2025. 2. That you provide written and dated proof of all communications between FNB and the credit bureaus regarding this matter.

You have until 13h00 (South African time) today to comply.

Should you fail to meet this deadline, I will proceed with the following without further notice: - Legal action for damages incurred due to FNB’s negligence, including but not limited to, lost income, missed business opportunities, and personal financial harm. - Public exposure via all relevant media channels and social platforms. - Escalation to regulatory and political oversight bodies, including the National Credit Regulator (NCR), the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), and the Banking Ombudsman.

Your failure to act with urgency and transparency is not only unacceptable but is a violation of my rights as a consumer. I reserve all my rights in law and will exercise them accordingly.
