Queuing time for calls to FNB

I'm pretty peeved with FNB right now. I have a new Discovery Credit Card which for some or other reason I don't receive an OTP via email when purchasing something online. Which I did receive an email with an OTP when using my old Discovery Credit Card in the past. Now lets see I phone Discovery Card and wait in the queue patiently to speak to a consultant (5 minutes, his call took maybe 1 minute, 4 minutes in the queue?) who cant help me an refers me to a number ( ********** 910). So the gentleman kindly transfers me, oh wait its the ***** number, why on earth would I want to speak to the ***** number to activate an OTP email, wait its gets better......so here I am on the line and I get cut off on the transferred call (number 1), so I phone the number myself (number 2) and wait for it, I am in the queue for 11 minutes, (yes, 11 minutes on the ***** line, wow), so I speak another gentleman, who transfers me, oh wait I get cut off again...…, so here I am phoning the ***** line again (number 3), and here i'm in the queue for 6 minutes (wow, a whole total of wait for it 5+1+11+6 = 23 minutes and still my issue is not resolved) so another gentleman tells me that the ***** line is not the people to assist me (really), but Authorisations is, and gives ma a number ( ********** 413). So all this time while waiting in the queue for Discovery Card and the FNB ***** line all I hear is we are experiencing "... higher than normal call volumes …". So to ask FNB what is a normal call volume for FNB? What is a normal waiting time (average lead time? around 6 minutes?) for a customer in a call line queue? Has FNB management/customer service/call centre staff actually phoned their own call centre and waited in the queue and been frustrated at the waiting time? how many employees do you employ at your call centres? are their sufficient call centre staff? So now once I phoned the Authorisations Department at ********** 413 (I was on this call for 14 minutes and in the queue for who knows how long around a minute or two). The lady tells me my OTP emails are going to an 061 number which I don't own (the 061 number has been on my account since 2015). can someone at FNB tell me where this number comes from, because she cant. Also she cant tell me why my email address is not linked to my new credit card when it was linked on the old credit card? Hopefully the queuing time will not take too long like in days or weeks or months to get some response from FNB? Regards Dr Lambert
