Putrid, Disgusting treatment of new clients.

Looking for a better rewards scheme from a bank, I foolishly switched to FNB with their "Effortless" debit order switching service. My wife and I went into the portside branch on the 10th of June and had received letters for our salaries to be paid into our new bank accounts. We were asked to provide 3 months bank statements which were we needed to highlight all our debit orders which we managed to provide to the consultant 2 days later. Too our disgust, all our debit order were run on our old bank account, Not one on the new account. Having to go through the effort of now manually paying on our creditors, we escalated to FNB only to find out that our request was sent on the 26th of June to the debit order switching department, a day after the debit orders were scheduled. almost 3 weeks later after the request was done. We have been back and forth with the portside branch staff for almost a month now and yet again, they have failed to come back to us with feedback even after being promised that it was being investigated by the branch manager. This is by far the sloppiest, most disgusting, putrid treatment of a new client I have ever experienced, and even if they manage to fix this enormous ***** up, it would be hard to change my opinion of the institution.
