Pushed from pillar to post with no answers

I was recently ****** in France and my Discovery credit card was ****** and used to make ********** transactions. I phoned to cancel my card and while I was on the phone I received an SMS notifying me of a transaction that just went through. The call centre agent told me that he cannot do anything about it.

On the 23rd of May, after I returned from France, I submitted the dispute form to the ***** department. I was supposed to have received a response from the ***** department on the 1st of June, which I did not.

I phoned the ***** department (011 ********** ) on 5 June 2017 and spoke to Thabiso Bandla who told me that they did send me an email that morning with the outcome, which was not the case. I asked to speak to the person who dealt with the case and Thabiso told me that he does not have a telephone and he can only escalate it back to the consultant to resend the mail (which I have still not received). He was also not able to give me any more information. He then advised me to phone Customer Care.

I spoke to Alice Ketelo at customer care who assisted me as much as she could (based on her feedback, it sounded like FNB does not intend to refund me) but was not in a position to assist me any further and advised me to send an e-mail to Customer Care, which I did.

I have still not received anything from the ***** department or Customer Care.

This is unacceptable service from the ***** department!

So I finally received the response from the ***** department that they suposedly sent me on 5 June. Guess what, the letter was dated 6 June, so Thabiso blantantly **** to me! I immediately rep**** to the letter (on 6 June) as I was not satified with the outcome. I phoned on 9 June to follow up as I had not received as much as an acknowledgement. I was told that they did recieve my e-mail but it has not been forwarded to the ***** department. It is now 3:12pm on 14 June and I have still not recieved any correspondence from FNB!! Disgusting service!!! And by the way, the number stated on the letter to raise a dispute ( ********** ) is not a valid number.
