Purchasing a smart device not such a smart idea

I made application in September for a smart device at FNB. Not such a smart idea and may other consumers be warned that just because the process to procure a device is easy, it should not be your primary option.

I received the device, no issues. A month into having it the call speaker ceased function. I contacted FNB who referred me to SSS cellular. I emailed details as requested by SSS cellular on 19/10/2015 and then had to follow up on 05/11/2015 as no response. They responded on 5/11/2015 and asked for proof of purchase - I advised I did not have and then I sent them details to show proof. No response. I contacted them on 17/11/2015 and asked re progress - they said they requested information from FNB, no one bothered to follow up. Subsequently still struggling to answer and hold phone on speaker I dropped it on 18/11/2015 and screen cracked. My fault i suppose but imagine they fixed phone already, would this of happened? I again contacted FNB on 18/11/2015 - they said they would feedback in 10 minutes, 1 hour has passed so I contacted SSS cellular who now refuses to assist as screen cracked? WOw - talk about after sales service......
