punished for upgrading

I recently upgrade on 6 May from Premier to Private client. I was on Ebuck level 5 in April with 11000 points. But now they are refusing to give me my Ebuck due to the update. Saying the will reward me for April using the current (Private account) although I did not have the account in April.
