Proposed settlement with FNB Insure

"Without Prejudice"

I have an ongoing matter at the short term insurance Ombud with Law on call. This is my attempt to ameliorate the dispute and settle it. My case which should be before the High court involves defamation with high prospects of success, and lawyers have also confirmed this. All I am asking for is that FNB covers me for this matter at least to a specific stage and set applicable limits thereto, alternatively an agreement that I could be covered for this matter with the understanding that I cannot claim for a particular period, even if it involves a 12 month or 24 month period. I just want this matter to proceed, my rights and privacy were grossly violated and I deserve justice to this effect. At the lapse of my policy, which remains in dispute with the Ombud, I went on to open yet another law on call policy with FNB and it is currently up to date. Just last week I took up a funeral cover with FNB. I bank with FNB and my salary is deposited into the account. The point is that I remain loyal to this brand on a long term trajectory. In the spirit of ubuntu and goodwill, I propose that my defamation lawsuit continue to be covered by FNB Law on call and I am willing to accept whatever conditions may be imposed to that effect. I propose this settlement in good faith. Without prejudice. Thank you.
