Private Client Service = Poor Client Service
After closing one of my FNB accounts I noticed that the closing statement shows my old address, despite updating my address months ago and my other statements showing my current address correctly. Specifically for the account in question it's imperative that the address for the closing statement to be correct. I contacted my private banker regarding the matter, and he bluntly told me that it cannot be done. I contacted him again, and he handed me over to his assistant who told me it will take nine days for the statement to be corrected. The matter is time sensitive, and FNB is being flippant about it. What is the point of the Private Client service offering if the assigned private banker is unhelpful, or try to frustrate a situation with the hope that the client will drop the matter? I made a complaint on FNB's website, and as expected it was conveniently ignored (Ref ********** ).
