Private Banking Same as Gold just more fees?

I was recruited to join Private banking over the phone. I was notified that a Banker will be assigned to me to explain this product in detail that was about 6 maybe 7 Months ago. I took the product but months went on without anyone contacting me. I contacted the call centre in January told them that I have not had any contact with a private banker and I am unhappy with this I think my Gold account was better because I did not expect anyone to help me. The consultant checked into my profile only to find out the banker I was assigned to left the bank, now that does not make sense, don’t you have a handover process at FNB? Anyway, I was told I will be assigned to a new banker who will contact me and make sure that I use the services which I am paying for. Well I was assigned a new banker.

I however missed a call from this banker and I received a follow-up email stating that Twany Bekker wanted to do a meet and greet. I followed up with an email and requested Twany to get back to me, it has been close to two months now, and a couple of emails I sent, Twany has not came back to me. On the 5th of March I sent another email again, trying to understand what maybe the issue perhaps there is a bit of workload. This is when Twany emailed me back and said; well I contact four times with no luck. This here does not make sense, I do not have any miss calls from Twany. Ok maybe a benefit of the doubt let’s say my phones was off hence no miss call eh…eh so Twany could not leave a voicemail. I asked Twany via email to on the 5th of March confirm from which number I was unavailable. Well I am yet to get a reply.

Now tell me do you think it makes sense for me to be paying for a service that I am not using? Or should I maybe join another bank? Clearly FNB is selling me lies, please advise.
