Private banking
On the 9th of April I app**** to move from one Bank to FNB on the phone, my new banker from FNB(very energetic and willing to help) assisted me in setting up my account.
As I was moving from another bank already with the credit card, it only made sense to open an FNB credit account to settle the other bank so that my entire portfolio sits with FNB and not have to deal with two banks.
Well I was given a credit card quotation to accept on the 9th of April 2018, which I did, then the next day I got a call from the call centre offering me the same quote that I had accepted the say before. Well I accepted the quoted telephonically as well.
The 11th I get a call from my banker indicating that the credit department is requesting that I sign another quotation(same quotation same details by the way) well I signed the quotation and sent it to my banker.
The very next day I get a call from my banker indicating that I have been sent a quotation(again) that I must accept and send back to the bank for processing, which I did(duplicate quotation number 4).
I followed up with my banker Friday the 13th,he indicated that my application was on hold as there we outstanding documents, my payslips which I needed to submit(I submitted the documents for the process to continue.
Monday 16th I call the bank to find out if there is anything that they need from me, guess what the bank wants from me, I must sign another quotation(with the same details as the above quotation, nothing changed) well I signed the quotation and accepted the quotation again.
Tuesday the 17th the bank sends me the same quotation again to accept and send back to them, which I did
Weds the 18th I call the bank to make a follow up on my application, then I am made to sign again another application and send back to the bank
today the 20th of April 2018, I call the bank to make a follow up on my application
guess what, I signed and sent another quotation with exactly the same amount.
Really now how many quotations as a client must I receive from the bank before I can actually get my application finalised.
For a bank that claims to be efficient effective and the bank to be with its really disappointing as it is clear that FNB is all talk and no action.
First national Bank how can we delay you
