Private Banker and Bad Advice

So i have had wonderful years with my Private Banker until recently, i had a Revolving credit of R42000, so i had realised my charges are alot. on the 6th Sep 2017 i picked a phone and called to compare the interest rates of Revolving credit and credit card. she adviced me that a Credit card is better and i can also earn ebucks, she further informs me that i qualify for R101 000 Credit card which i decline and ask her to cancel my Revolving Credit and load only R40 000 on my Credit Card since she adviced that the Credit card is better. Immediately over the phone she cancels my Revolving and promise to load Credit card of R40 000 and activate the card by end of business....please note that my PB knows that i buy and sell cars so sometimes when i have lots of stock i tap into that R42 000 revolving loan to buy a car and repay the money ( Convenience)

I made several calls on the 6th, 7th and 8th to follow up, she keeps telling me about authorization etc, she was well aware that i am attending a car auction on the 9th Sep and i might need that extra moola to buy 1 more car. on the 8th in the evening she calls and drop a bomb, i can only be given R18 000 Credit card and overdraft of R8000 i think, i was so made. how did we move from R101 000 to R18 000, i mean i willingly cancelled R42 000 Revolving. i went to auction and indeed i needed that extra money. 1 reason i got Private Banker is for advice to grow my small business and get genuine advice. but when we are badly adviced what must happen? i lost an opportunity to buy 1 more car and make money.

This is sad for me, FNB failed me. on the 11th sept she sent me an e mail saying she escalated the matter to credit control to request the initial limit and she will advice within 24 hours. today is the 18th Sept and i have not heard anything from FNB. is this the service we supposed to receive? is this the real Private client?
