Prior credit card account not closed as promised

I went to FNB Clearwater the morning of 11/09/2015. After discussions I was convinced to move my business to FNB. I proceeded to fill out all the documents and received confirmation that my credit card at my previous bank would be settled and the outstanding debt would be placed on my new FNB credit card and I would pay same off monthly. I was worried that two credit card instalments would be debited from my account and the end of the month and I voiced this fear to Andrew. He assured me that same would not happen. On date 15/09/2015 I again sent an email to Andrew again voicing my concern regarding the above. I was again assured that the credit card account at my previous bank would be settled and I would pay FNB on my new credit card monthly. This morning however, my account was debited with the instalment for my previous credit card account. As such my fear has become reality and I have not budgeted for same. I am truly regretting switching my account to FNB and feel it is the worst decision I could make. All empty promises and absolutely no delivery on same. I sent an email to Andrew this morning 07:54 but have not received a response till now.
