Prestige Banking service a hokes and the sales people pathetic

It is now two weeks since the sales person fro FNB contacted me and per telephonice conversation I decided to move from Standard Bank to FNB. The y say the grass is greener on the other side and there is a reason for that, there are more bullsh.... None the less, two weeks later I have only half of what was agreed upon, no contact details from the sales person so I can not phone her back or email her. When registering for online banking so that I can retrieve my own bank account number, the atm swallowed my card because the atm was hanging. Card was cancelled and wiating for new one. Laid a complain via phone with the prestige bankers and the can not assist because the sales person was still in the process of handling the account. The next day the sales person did phone me and I asked for contact details which she did not want to give and said she will mail it to me. Again she failed and now I am still in the dark. Two weeks in the process, NO bank card, NO bank account number, NO assistance from prestige banking, NO contact details for the sales person that was supposed to send me her contact info twice. No joy and it seem staying with Standard Bank is the better option.

Maybe FNB will respond this way bacause the sales person is incompotent.

Regards

Johan Kemp

Good Day

Unfortunately loging a complaint did not help much as NO ONE ever phone me nor did the original sales person contacted me. I did go to the FNB branch at the Colenade shopping centre in Pretoria and they were very helpfull and a absolute blessing. The branch resolved all my issues and I am now sattisfied to go forward.

I would advise any person that want to switch to FNB to go to a branch and not via the call centre / sales persons. As soon as you are in the process of signing over, the sales person is history and no further service from them.

The branch at the Colenade centre in Pretoria are a real asset to the bank.

From here the complaints department does not need to further assist or comment, I went to the bank personally and resolved all issues which the sales person failed to do.

Much appreciated and have a great day.
