Premier Banking Service?!? Don't make me laugh. I'm giving up and changing banks.

*sigh* I'm so tired of FNB's lack of service delivery. I'm supposed to be a 'platinum' client with access to a team of 'premier banking consultants' who will call me back within 24 hours to answer any query I have. Only they never do, and I'm sick of it. The latest ridiculous FNB issue I have is that my new Business Cheque Card has been sent to a branch in a town I lived in 3 years ago, even though I changed my branch to where I live now over two years ago and in spite of the fact that my bank statements go to a PO Box where I live now and that FNB makes me provide proof of address of where I live now EVERY TIME I GO IN THERE. I complained on the 'Premier Banking Service' site but....they haven't called me back. I doubt they will. They never have before.

Time to go bank-shopping, methinks. My bf is a platinum banking client with Nedbank, and he gets a personal phonecall within 10 minutes of emailing his personal banker... now that's service.

I was contacted by FNB Premier Banking (2 days late, but who's counting?) and after much ado I was assurred that a new card would be dispatched to me by courier and the one sent to the incorrect branch cancelled. I was also contacted by the manager of the FNB Hillcrest branch who promised that my details would be updated. I received the new card, but it's linked to the wrong account and it doesn't work. Also, I now can't make internet banking payments from either my Business or Personal current accounts. The system tells me my accounts are invalid. I have no choice but to go into a branch to sort it all out. What a mess. What HORRIBLE service. I'm definitely ending my relationship with FNB at the eariest possible convenience. From bad to worse...

PS. I'm also still getting SMS's from my original branch asking me to collect the card that should have been cancelled. There are also two cards linked to my accounts that I'm not in possession of. Does FNB have any idea what they're doing? Do they subject a lot of their so-called Platinum Clients to this sort of *******, or am I just lucky?

And I tried to call the Premier Service this evening, in the hope of resolving all of this without drama or having to post on hellopeter. I was hung up on once and cut off twice. *sigh*
