Prejudiced by Bank - No access to credit !

Good Day

I have been a FNB customer for many many years and have had both pleasant and unpleasant experiences with the bank.I used to have a Business and our Business did all its banking with FNB , We chose FNB as a Bank beacuse of the Bank's advanced technological offering like internet banking ewallet and geopayments.

A few years ago I had a bout of bad luck when my smart device was ****** - The phone in question was luckily insured and I got an insurance settlement from the bank's insurer and was told that the I no longer had to worry about it - the phone was also removed from my profile so I could no longer see it .

This was the last thing I heard from the bank about this but upon applying for an overdraft with the bank I was told that I would not be eligible for an overdraft because there was a prior issue with the bank ( smart device) .

I have a few issues with this becuase :

The BANK WAS SETTLED by the insurer

I was NEVER told that insuring with the bank could negatively influence my credit rating if they settled a claim .

I have been with FNB for almost 10 years and have never had issues with my credit rating until now .

I have little to no debt and pay all my accounts as and when they fall due .

I have never been contacted regarding this issue with my credit card .

As a self-employed individual running his own business access to short term finance is the difference between success and failure .

Could somebody at the bank please help me with this problem .

I need to submit applications with the bank but this , The support consultant at FNB said that I have the following codes on my profile that should not be there as there is no valid reason as to why these are on my profile :

DDA07/DDA31/DDA06

I expect a quick resolution to this problem

Regards

Mmuso Nathane
