Possibly the worst service ever.

So, it's been more than a month since my insurance incident started. Every time you phone short term insurance you get another story. My claim is really not so difficult that you might have everything completed quick fast, however yesterday they complete my car, call it part one, with documents to be collected today so that payment 1 can be made then part 2 and 3 should possibly be done by Thursday afternoon then part 4. So payment 1 will be made once the collected the documents today , NO they will not fetch documents today, only Monday ( my rental car is only booked till Saturday before 12 more than 1 hours drive from me, is the delivery place. Only after receipt of the documents that should have been collected today now possibly Monday or possibly fryday, the agreed amount for the car will be made then , I can possibly get a answer for part 2 of my claim tomorrow afternoon, Thursday. No mention of part 3 or 4 of my claim. They are , apparently waiting for management to approve a extension on the rental car, which by the way you pay for every month, and they should possibly have a answer by, wait for it. The end of business on Thursday. So more than a month, part one is kinda comple, part 2,3 4 should possibly have feedback on Thursday, oh and don't forget the courtesy car ,will also wait for a answer from " management " by Thursday afternoon. So no part of the claim is 100% completed. No possible idea if I must take the avis Car back on Friday or saturday and walk back home ( I mean after all its just over a hours drive from my home so the walk should be quick.) What kinda service is this , or rather lack of. I'm actually sick to my stomach with the claim. 30 April to date and nothing is completed. Absolutely unbelievable.

I thought being a private client will make things easier if I just keep everything bundled under my bank fnb.
God was I wrong. I'm yet to be amazed. I am amazed about the lack of insurance assistance regarding a claim. Had a insurance company many many years ago completing a claim from sart to finish in 3 business days, fnb can' really give much answers after 30 days apart from stage one out of 4 is possibility done but can't tell nor confirm much , you just can't make this stuff up. Honestly

I'm starting to wonder if this is fnb sti normal way of under performing or is it a way for loyal clients to be treated like ******* or the loyal clients must just accept the terrible service OR is it one of those 1 person must do 30 people's work ,as those 30 people is just around to fill all the positions 🤔
From the whole fnb sti is there really only one guy that actually work correctly ie Teboho. Surly if work loads was evenly distributed why is it that only this one guy is attending to a claim. One part of my claim is to be done by another person, that lady told me last week Friday at roughly 15:45 that she will call me right back, we'll I'm still waiting for that call. Why must a loyal client type reviews on hello Peter and ask private client departments to get involved in the aim to resolve a claim that's now more than a month old? How long can it possibly take for a manager to get approval for a courtesy car extension so that the one person who gets flooded with correspondence, can extend a car taking alot of stress away from the client and a mountain of strain of him self... I honestly don't know what to think about fnb but as much as I correspond with Teboho and sadly not always in a friendly manner, I'm clearly projecting as I think my frustration is a product of this guy not getting the support from his management team to ease his work , I don't know.

Please, these departments, seemingly every department couldn't care less. Fnb just do what they want if they want and at a snails pace. No one cares about the clients. All you want from clients is fees for this and fees for that - you just want want want but delivery services, well you ensure to show the client that you are in charge and if the client questions anything you ensure that the client know they have no business in their own banking affairs. Oh BTW-
Congratulations, you managed to make me fiscally I'll, stunning job!!!!

So ... Teboho Thebehadi has completed my car claim and ensured the documents he needs to proceed with a payment is well on its way. Thank you Teboho.

Now the next challenge is unspecified items ( covered) must be completed by another department and has been sent to that departments manager, as this department did not give any feedback I don't know how long that will take the same goes for the specified item.

Then the next challenge is refunds for debit orders that was processed after the claim was submitted, at this stage only one debit order was processed and i was informed it will be refunded.

Hope the other departments will be efficient as Teboho was.
