Possible ATM **** / *******

14/02/2016 - I went to the FNB atm at the Pick n Pay centre in Gordons Bay to draw money. I entered the amount R200 on the keypad and the machine gave me R20. At first I thought I entered the amount wrong, but then I received an sms from FNB saying that I just withdrew R200. I phoned the FNB nr on the ATM and the call centre lady assured me not to worry and that the money was probably finished in the atm and that I would be refunded.

16/02/2016 - Still no refund so I phoned FNB complaints dept and they put me through to the credit card div. I spoke to a lady (Samantha) who told me that FNB has nothing to do with that ATM as Pick n Pay loads the money for that ATM, (Nowhere on that ATM does it mention anything about Pick n Pay).

19/02/2016 - FNB phones me and tells me to go talk to Mr Moodley (Pick n Pay store co-owner). When I get there Mr Moodley tells me that he doesn't know what to tell me and in a condescending tone, he doesn't make a mistake and that I am wrong and FNB is trying to put the blame on him.

Today (22/02/2016) FNB phones me to tell me that they are not going to refund me the R180 difference. How can I trust a bank that *****s money from me???

Hi Melinda, I am pleased to say that (with alot of help from HelloPeter), FNB has refunded my money as I requested, thus restoring my trust in them once again. I can't say the same for Pick n Pay (Gordons Bay). Mr Moodley lost R3000 pm shopping as we have now switch over to Checkers. Regards Ian
