Poor / Unresponsive Service

Last week I app**** to get a temporary loan through FNB. The request could not be granted as I was apparantly 'not eligeable'.

I enquired as to why this was the case and was told it was due to an outstanding payment on my Smart device. I duely made this payment and tried again but nothing changed. I the spent the afternoon of the 12th of May trying to find out what but the FNB systems were down and I could not be helped.

The followinig day (13th May), the systems were up. I called to find out what the reason was (after I had taken care of the issue that had been highlighted previously). The consultant told me that he was unaware of the cause and can't help. He promised he would get the admin team as well as his manager, Melissa Diphofa (team leader temp loans), to call me back to let me know the reasons.

I have heard this all too much from FNB so decided to email Melissa direct on the 13th of May. I explained my situation and asked her again to please get back to me. I never heard anything from her, not even an ackowledgement of receiept.

Yesterday (18th May) I had still not received anything. I emailed her back to tell her this service is unacceptable. She rep**** this morning saying that she will get the admin team to look into this and revert back. Was this not supposed to be done 5 days ago?

This is not the first issue I have had with FNB - it is no wonder they tie people into having accounts through marketing smart devices and other services. This way its not so easy for people to leave when they constantly receive poor service.

I expect for this to be sorted out immediately and my temporay loan granted. FNB has made a ton of money off me through these tenporary loans in the past (and I have never had problems getting one or paying it back before due to date).

When a team leader is delivering such poor unaccountable service, how can I have faith in any FNB representative?

I expect a phone call and explanation immediately.

Robert
