Poor services from FNB (yet again)

So I have recently moved houses and therefore thought I'd be a decent citizen and begin to update my details, in line with FICA regulations etc, starting with FNB. As this is a new address I thought what better way to prove my residential address than with the lease agreement itself. So that's what I presented to the person who called my ticket. My lease agreement has all the information necessary/required- Dates (less than a year old), Names (landlord, tenant, real estate company), ID number, Details of premises (full address, property description etc ), type of lease, signatures and initials by all parties, as well as all the fees/deposits required for the property. However, I had the fee and deposit amounts redacted because quite frankly, its none of the bank's business how much rent I'm paying. As long as my account is not in overdraft, you can attach your noses right back onto your faces. Whether the rent amount is R5 or R50 000, whether the rent increases or decreases, has nothing to with the bank. FNB is not financing me on this in any way, shape or form. I have no loans with the bank, in fact, the lease clearly states who the agreement is between, and it's NOT with FNB. So because I had redacted the fee amounts listed in the agreement I was told they would not be able to accept it as a proof of address... Like, why the hell not? What it to you, FNB , how much the admin fees are, the preparation fees are, the electricity deposit, the damage deposit? What the F**K does this have to do with the change my residential address? According to THEIR list of documents required to update your address, a lease or rental agreement that is less than a year old would be accepted.. That's it.. no additional requirements or notes. THEN this person tells me, if they accept this agreement, my account would be frozen... ***... how does any of this make sense? I can assign permission to allow someone to make use of my cards/online banking, by a simple click on my online profile. I can change limits, change pins, change email addresses, email statement ( which by the way, are not encrypted) to any email address for anyone to see, with just few simple clicks online. Changing my residential address? MISSION IMPOSSIBLE... And guess what, I do not accept this mission. So you can leave my address as whatever ever the hell it is, I actually don't care.
