Poor Service rendered : Home Loan
Good Day I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to seek your guidance and assistance regarding my recent home loan approval with FNB. I have already paid the transfer fees to the transfer attorneys and have signed the bond documents at the bond registration attorneys. However, I am in need of R17,000 to cover the bond registration fees.
I would like to inquire if it is possible to obtain an advance on my home loan to cover these costs. Additionally, I would appreciate your advice on whether I qualify for a personal loan to finance the bond registration fees. If I proceed with a personal loan application, I would like to understand if this could have any negative impact on my financial standing or my home loan agreement.
I am fully committed to honoring both my home loan and any additional loan repayments. My priority is to secure the property and ensure all necessary payments are made in a timely manner. Therefore, I would be grateful if you could assess my eligibility and advise on the best course of action available to me.
I kindly request a prompt response, as I need to finalize the bond registration process as soon as possible. Please let me know if there are any specific requirements or documentation needed from my side to facilitate this request.
I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the lack of response to my previous queries relating to my home loan application. After several unsuccessful attempts to receive assistance via email, I contacted the FNB Home Loans Contact Centre. Unfortunately, I was informed that they are unable to assist and that there is nothing further they can do from their side.
Additionally, I was advised that applying for a personal loan would result in my home loan application being declined and cancelled. This puts me in an extremely difficult position, as I have already paid R25,000 to the transfer attorneys. Cancelling the application now would not only mean forfeiting that amount but also incurring further legal fees due to breaching the terms of the signed Offer to Purchase.
I am sincerely disappointed with the level of service and support I have received thus far. I had expected that FNB, as a financial institution, would have explored alternative solutions with me—such as a consolidation loan or the possibility of including the bond registration fees in the home loan—before leaving me with no viable options.
As it stands, I risk losing the property I have app**** for and facing further financial consequences, all due to the lack of assistance from your side. The bond registration attorneys are currently awaiting payment in order to proceed with the lodgement, and time is of the essence.
I am urgently appealing for someone to step in and assist with finding a workable solution. I would greatly appreciate any support or advice that can help resolve this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Keneilwe Given Thobane
