Poor service on device return

I have been having an issue with my A3000 Lenovo tablet bought via FNB. It's been coming and going for about 3 months until it got so bad it didn't want to come on anymore. So I ask FNB to collect it in November - it took about --2 weeks-- for them to collect it. Now this morning I get a quite from the [URL Removed] team that the unit sustained --liquid damage--, which is utter nonsense as the unit has been in it's case the whole time and the the casing would have water damage as well if this was the case. Best of all they --charge-- me more than the price of a new tablet for the repair... seriously?
I am pretty disgusted at this moment as I still have a year long to repay on a unit they obviously won't fix and there is no way I'm paying that kind of money to have it fixed.
