Poor Service from Private Banker

My family and I am relocating to UK. I addressed three e-mails to my private banker, Nceba Ngamlana. I wish to downgrade my bank accounts as R365 banking fee is unjustifiable in this instance. But Nceba is not returning my mails. Unacceptable.

FNB Tygervalley is not able to assist with this request and I have been referred back to my private banker, whom is still ignoring my mails.

Hmmm, I am perturbed. Received phonecall from my "Private Banker" twice on Friday, 20th. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon. On both occasions he informed me the that he will e-mail relevant documents to sign and return. Needless to say I have not received relevant email as yet. Are you kidding me? Is this a prank?

Dear Naomi, I am frustrated and extremely disappointed at the lack of service from FNB and it's courier partner Mr. Delivery. This is how I'm being rewarded for sixteen years of customer loyalty to FNB? Further to previous communication, I required and requested downgrade of account a month in advance, prior to relocating to England. Initial mail forwarded to my Private Banker, Nceba is dated 3 October. I have now successfully relocated to UK and am without my gold credit card. After numerous phone calls I have managed to secure delivery of my a banking card on Friday, 27th between 16h30 and 17h00. I have to just add that these phone calls to Mr. Delivery were very annoying, Mr Delivery forwarded numerous sms's claiming that they can't get hold of me, even though there is no evidence of missed calls on my handset. When I do return their "call", then I wait 10 minutes for available consultant. I kid you not. So I received card on Friday, 27th at 16h40 and were very pleased with delivery, however once I opened envelope I noticed that the card received was not credit card but instead petro card. I don't require a petro card. I do not have vehicle. I immediately phoned Mr. Delivery and spoke to a Nicole. She informed me that Mr. Delivery will be able to deliver on Tuesday, 31st; If collecting from FNB Branch then Wednesday 1st. I explained to her that I required card by latest Monday, 30th afternoon as I were taking flight to England on that same Monday. She told me that she will escalate to her Manager. At around 18h00 that same Friday afternoon, after no further response I phoned Mr. Delivery again. I spoke to a Darren. I voiced my concerns, he assured me that the card will be Fedex'd (onx) and that he will phone me. I have not received that phone call. So on Monday 30th, as I am making final preparations for flight my arrogant and most ******** of all private bankers, Nceba, whom I do not wish to have any further future dealings with, phoned me inquiring whether I have received my Credit Card. That was/ is the final straw. On Tuesday, 31st as I'm busy unpacking at my new, temporary residence in England. I receive confirmation sms from Mr. Delivery that delivery was scheduled for Tuedsday between 16h30 and 17h00?? Please cancel my Credit Card account with immediate affect. Also, please do not contact me on my cell phone, international roaming calls are for my own expense. I you wish to make contact then please e-mail. Riaan van Niekerk
