Poor service from FNB
Good day, Can somebody please advise me on how to link my FNB and PayPal accounts? I've been beating around the same bush now for almost a week and still have not gotten anywhere. FNB is very prompt in deducting money from my account every time I try to link the two, but actually linking the two seems to be an totally impossible task. Is there anybody at FNB who would like to live up to the helping part in your slogan?

10 Jul 2020, 15:29Well, today FNB (I assume) did contact me...., I don't think they actually want to help. All they want to do is deduct money for every attempt to link them with PayPal. So I'm still stuck. Let me start at the beginning.... After a few attempts to link my new FNB account to PayPal I got the advice from my sister to put some cash into the FNB account. So I deposited R100 into it. Allmost immediately about R50 was deducted.... So I contact HelloPeter and state my case, because this is becoming ridiculous! Someone did contact me today....
The person who called me today basically just told me that FNB (or maybe PayPal...still no clarity on who) deducts R8.50 off my account every time I try to link the two unsuccesfully. According to her I have R24.00 left in the FNB account at this moment. So I ask her if they cannot help me link the accounts from their side, at wich point she tells me she can't do anything untill I "top up" my FNB account?? I did top up my account yesterday . I put R100 in the FNB account and I know there is at least $50 in the PayPal account. So now you want me to put some more money in the FNB account so that it can also magically evaporate for no good reason?? I still do not know why I had to pay 8.50 for each attempt. If they take R8.50 an attempt why should I put more money in ? R24 should be sufficient i? FNB is just sneaky in that regard. It is ****************. They are just *****ing the money. The lady that called me today said it is in the paperwork......U pay 8.50 for each failed attempt. They should warn a person before hand, before you attempt to link! The lady at FNB said everything is ready to go when I picked up my card. It is a real pity that you guys are the only bank through wich I can do buisness with PayPal. And also the only time I didn't wait over an hour for service at one of your branches was the time I waited just under an hour!! So in closing you didn't help me didly squat and you took all my money. Can someone who can actually help me to just get these accounts linked just do so please.
