Poor service from FNB

My cheque account card expires on 30 Nov 2016. According to my online banking profile, the new card has already been issued in October.

Yesterday I phoned the bank to enquire why my card has not yet been delivered. Of course, no one can give an answer and all the consultant did was to log a call with the customer section of the bank.

This morning I get a call from the courier company saying it will take 3-5 days for the delivery to take place, which means if they deliver after Wednesday my card will not be valid and I cannot transact. The courier company says if I have a problem with the delivery time I must contact the bank. I was on the phone for almost an hour at my cost to try and resolve it. Nobody can tell me why the card has not been sent ( I received my credit at least 4-5 weeks before its expiry date) and then the consultant tells me the courier say they will do a special delivery but it will be at my cost.

You must be kidding! Not my mistake, not my problem, not for my account. This is the worst service I have received from FNB in the 6 years I have been banking with them. Eventually the manager said he will do his best to make sure it is delivered on time - Mr. Shimani Diseko. I would like to see, but one thing is for sure, if I don't have my card in time, I will be changing banks.
