Poor service from FNB

FNB made me feel like less of a person and not important to them as a client, the service that I received was very appalling.

Good day

To whom it may concern...

I would like to lay a complain against FNB customer service including their branch in Johannesburg Main street.

I app**** for a revolving loan on the 16th of May '18 because I needed funds urgently using my cell phone banking, the loan was approved but strange enough it did not reach my account.

I called FNB after an hour to follow up with them and get told the loan department is closed, I called the following day around past 9 in the morning and they confirmed that it was approved however I need to wait because it doesn't get approved immediately.

I waited from the 16th of May '18 until the 26th of May '18 when I got paid and I decided to cancel it since the funds were still not in my account and when I called FNB loans department I was sent from one department to another and eventually I was told that the loan cannot be cancelled on line I need to go to a branch, I was frustrated because I knew the chances of me being charged for funds I didn't receive were high.

Today I went to FNB branch in Main Street JHB and the guys by the name of Sibusiso still sent me away saying that they can't assist I need to call FNB Customer Care even after I had explained to him my frustrations and what transpired the past week and a half. He was not bothered by it and willingness to assist was not even there...

I insisted to call the Centre from their offices just proof that no one is willing to assist and I did and my suspicion were proven to be correct they were still telling me I need to go to the branch without being aware I was there already.

I spoke to consultant by the name of Mbali Khambule who was extremely helpful very patient and sympathetic to my frustration something I wouldn't say about Sibusiso, who as well told me that the loan can be cancelled only if I pay an initiation fee of R151.00 which I refused to do and that guy got me irate even more because why would I pay for service that I didn't receive, the funds never reached my account and I called numerous time without getting any assistance, so where is the logic for to pay for funds that I never received let alone used???

To cut the story short I was deeply hurt and felt less human when Sibusiso supervisor told him that he needs to finish with me and attend to other customers without my query being resolved and just being told that pay the R151.00 we will cancel it.

I take it I am less important and FNB does not value me as their client. I believe their logo "how can we help you" does not apply to me and I am less important, they made me to feel less important, they only emphasized that if I don't pay that amount it will accumulate as a R68 fee monthly??? I believe this in an interest payment in disguise again for funds that I didn't get...

Honestly how is this possible when I didn't get the funds and they confirmed that as well so exactly what am I paying for....

Can I please get feedback urgently as how will this be resolved because clearly I am not an important client even after building a relationship as a client for 12 years!
