Poor Service Delivery

Switching to FNB seems to be the biggest mistake I have ever made. This bank fails to assist with the smallest enquiries, its either you sit on the phone for hours with no response or emails not being rep**** to, or your request being unsolved. Recently I have made a request for a payment holiday for only 4 months for my mortgage loan because I'm on maternity leave and I am earning 30% of my salary which will not be enough to pay the mortgage and the expenses to survive on, instead of them adding that 4 months to my repayment term they decided to debit as if I'm running away while I will be going back to work and everything can go back on track , they never even considered the facts that I have stated on the email, they made me feel like I am a ***** of some sort, even today my request has not been attended to. This makes me even wonder if this is the kind of treatment that I am going to get for the next coming years because I still have a long way with them or maybe I should just switch my mortgage to another bank because I have heard people getting better client service from their banks.

Reviewer Update
I wrote this review on Saturday night, and I'm happy to say that the bank has contacted me this morning and the matter is resolved. And I can proudly say that I'm looking forward to working with FNB for a longer period of time. Thank you to two people that assisted me they were kind and professional, one is :Pillay Yogini, sorry I forgot the gentleman's name but big up to you guys, your efforts are very much appreciated. Once again thank you FNB for the professional service.
