Poor service by FNB and refusal to close an account.

I had an account with FNB and I don't want it anymore, but they are refusing to close the account with claims that I'm under debt review to my surprise they are the only bank that see my name under debt review. I once called NCR by the advice of their consultant who was helping me, NCR had no records of my name under debt review. My credit records show no records of me being under debt review. They are busy charging me monthly charges, I have been to their branches 3 times already and they keep saying they are unable to close the account. I don't want an account with them anymore what's so difficult to understand in this regard.
