Poor service at FNB Stellenbosch
So today i visited my local FNB branch in Stellenbosch. As every day i tried to see a consultant, there was a long que. Since FNB is declining some of my very important payments on internet and could so far not solve the problem, i decided to bite the bullet and join the que. Only to find that only two of the five consultants were present! I enquired to a very arrogant Ms Monique Apollis about this situation. After she rudely interrupted me during this discussion to tell me that she is not finished talking, she informed me that although there are five kiosk, this branch only have three consultants. At that stage there were only two because one was on lunch. I was there close to an hour before the third consultant arrived back. So i figure the other two persons must also eat so there are in practise only two consultants available for three hours of a seven hour day! To make a long story short i left. I cannot sit in a que for more than an hour. I enquired to Ms Apollis about the fact that i am a Private Account client and expects a little bit better service. She informed me that as soon as you walk into a branch all clients are the same. She also informed me that there is some sort of system to book a visit but it also does not mean that you can make a fixed appointed. So after a lifetime as an FNB client, i walked out of the FNB branch and opened a Capitec account. I will be migrating from FNB to Capitec and close my several FNB accounts. This will include my wife, children, their business and other family. I believe FNB is much larger than Capitec but only have this small branch in a Place like Stellenbosch. Capitec has three!! Regards
