Poor service
FNB Life It’s been months now, literally. After accepting your life cover option, I was informed by my current life policy holder that I need a cession letter in order to cancel with them. I called you a few times. Each time explaining exactly what I need. There were back and forth emails as well. Nobody seemed to know what the hell I was talking about. Fast forward to a month ago, I spoke to a new person who sent me the documents I need to fill in. It’s now a month since I’ve sent in what I needed to and have heard absolutely nothing back from you. Today I get a call. The person says hello. Hello again. Then puts down the phone. I get two sms’s saying we’ve tried to contact you. I call back and am on hold for approximately 14 minutes. I speak to two different people for less than 30 seconds each. Trust me the call recordings will not prove me wrong. The last female I spoke to said she’s gonna look at my profile. And then there’s complete silence. For a good 3 minutes I presume. So I decided ***** this. I will not waste my resources holding on the line for you people. It’s now the end of the day and nobody has called me back(I do not take calls after 4pm). I personally do not feel like I’ve been treated as a valued client. As per my email communication sent yesterday you had until the end of business today to contact me and make sure my request has been completed. This has not happened. So, cancel the life policy I have with you. I have been more than lenient. You’ve been debiting my account for 3 months now and I have not received the service I signed up for. Do not debit my account any further. I expect to see a cancellation letter tomorrow 28th January 2021. I trust that all 3 people who I spoke to today will get the necessary retraining on how to deal with a customer. And maybe additional company policies and procedures training. Because wow. It was an uphill battle to get something as simple as a cession letter. You know, I have most of my financial products with you, as your records will show. So to be afforded this type of treatment-or lack there of is quite off putting.
