Poor service
I am not an FNB client; however I am someone who has been trying to link my PayPal account for days... weeks actually. At first I even considered opened an FNB account but considering the experience I have had so far, I doubt it.
I created an FNB online profile. Regarding Fica documents, there was only a tab for identification documents to be attached. Which I did. Then I received an email that asked that I send my marriage certificate by replying to said email. Which I did, but I promptly received an email stating that I couldn't reply to said email. I then contacted customer care asking for assistance and emailed my documents as well. I received an automated response. I emailed again... automated response. I sent an email via their websites complaint/compliment section. Received sms's but nothing more.
In the meantime I can't use my PayPal account.
I received a letter of verification and was told that I could pick up my card.
So, we get into the car and go to FNB Newton Park where I dealt with 2 incredibly rude ladies. One had a horrible attitude before I even started speaking to her.
And according to her. my account wasn't verified.
How do you send a letter of confirmation to a client telling them that they can pick up their card but at the same time said account is not verified?
You wasted my time and petrol.
In hindsight, I should have known that I would not be assisted as this has been my experience with FNB for the last week.
I didn't even get their names as I didn't see the point.
Absa is awesome compared to FNB.
In the meantime I have Paypal funds that I still can't access and a useless, unwanted FNB account.
Thanks for nothing.
I should have given 1 star.
