Poor service
If I revert to the very beginning which is between the end of July 2018 to the 1st week of August 2018 I can clearly state the service and incompetence of your staff member Mr Vishal Binessaree is unacceptable, the numerous messages of I will call you back and no response to emails revert to August 2018. Eventually Desiree Naidoo was contacted and asked to assign someone competent with the application and Vishal was told to respond and keep us in the loop with the application. From the onset the loan amount was loaded at 10% of the requested amount. I reiterate yes 10%!!
Very little attention was given to this application to the extent that the evaluators assessed the incorrect property and when we pointed out the incompetency and questioned how was it possible for the other banking institutions to find value and give us an approval in a few days ,did FNB begin to start the process. Vishal became difficult because of our complaints regarding his poor discipline, communication errors and gave an approval with an unreasonable list of minor repairs such as a dirty carpet, hanging shower door and dirty walls etc and approved building plans. The approval was in my personal capacity and not as stated on the Otp in the name of the Trust, all this and more transpired between the 1st and 2nd week of September 2018. An approval was only issued on the 27th of September 2018. During this process a request was made for evaluators to come out and reassess the property accordingly as the main house is completely liveable and fully functional. Plans should not be a requirement as the house is completely built. On the 21st of November we spoke to Vishal and Desiree We requested to meet the evaluator onsite to point out which buildings they refer to as we were doubtful of their info and were promised by Desiree Naidoo that by Friday the 23rd of November 2018 we would be contacted . We were promised an evaluator would reassess the property at no later than Friday the 23rd November 2018 . To date Desiree has not returned my call or explained why an evaluator has NOT arrived on the promised date.
We were informed prior to signing that Vishal was no longer dealing with our application, only to find out after we signed he still is. When we asked Desiree his manager to remove him she stated he was being disciplined. We insisted we don’t want to deal with Vishal in any way but he is still corresponding with the attending attorneys.
21st November 2018 I called Desiree at 14:25 and 16:17,no answer. 22nd November 2018 at 13:34pm I called Desiree to follow up . 23rd November 2018 nothing yet. 23rd November 2018 10:57 am Pumi Gwababa was contacted and we requested he speak to Desiree and revert, no response as yet. We could overlook Desiree’s communication issues and not responding to ourselves, however can necessary steps be taken to ensure we don’t have a repeat going forward. We refuse to interact with Vishal so please forward us the contact person moving forward.
Indran on the 22nd November 2018 at 14:53 called to say the matter was escalated and he will revert on Monday. On the 26 th of November 2018 Indran called stating that plans for the incomplete structure and triple garage were required. We requested for that in email so we get the correct info and he calls back at 10:59 asking for plans for all the dwellings. After explaining how frustrated we are due to the constant changes ,no feedback and perplex disorder he apologised but has no explanation. We requested that he sends me the recordings of the 10:29 am conversation to cell number ********** 037 call to point out the constant different requests we are subjected to. Indran promise to send me Connie De Wets contact details shortly. At 11:14 I call Indran, no answer At 15;27 I call Indran and Chad Joshua answers saying Indran left the company and he will take over. He states he will speak to Desiree and revert . We refuse to engage and interact will individuals that require pressure from seniors to return calls or reschedule appointments which are basic necessary work ethics and requirements.
With unprofessional *********** staff members reverting to August 2018 to current we have been compromised with unnecessary escalating expenses due to lack of professionalism and service. The question I ask is how did FNB finance this property previously without approved plans and was this an ******* structure sold?
Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
