poor response on home loan

i am shocked that my bank for over 40 years cannot give me a loan. i have less than a year to pay my bond off and i am not allowed a further loan. its pathetic that other banks have already come through for me to sign. i have app**** and the lady that assisted was very cold and not help ful i am hoping that FNB can come back to me before i sign up with another bank
