Poor processes for simple things

It annoys me when things that should be easy are made hard by banks.

I had a faulty credit card (bad chip) so requested a replacement. Took almost a month, first fail. Get the replacement (NOTE, replacement NOT a 'new' card, but i know to you it IS a new card, sigh), then for some reason you dont carry over the cell number for the OTP, why? Then, the card has a phone number on the back, you would think you can call it for issues with that very card, the same card the number is on. You call the number, ask to change the cell number for OTP, they say, no, you need to speak to Internet Banking. Why?? Its a credit card issue and i called the number ON THE CARD. Then i get to the Internet banking people, who, you guessed it, transfer me again. Really?? Then there is a voice note while on hold to say "You can change the OTP cell number at an ATM, so i hang up and drive to an ATM. Guess what!! The ATM says 'Go to your bank to change the OTP cell number' REALLY REALLY??? What the hell?? For a company who should deal with these issues daily, the process is not slightly broken, its the kind of thing that people emigrate over, the sheer incompetence. ARGH!!!!
