POOR POOR SERVICE from FNB Deceased Estate!!
Deceased Estate executor & legal company are struggling since 14 September 2023 to close a deceased small bank account with no success. It is the one department and section to a other, back locks, ect. Seems there are a lot of people experiencing the same ifurtrations if you look at the complaints of Brenda C on the 8th January 2024 and Michael B on the 18th December 2023. Why does it take 6 - 7 months to close a savings account if all the documents was submitted? Please FNB, this is a bad reflection of your service. I will definitely not recommend people to support FNB.

FNB Deceased Estate department is a joke. Rekha Chetty, as Estate Manager of FNB, your department has serious problems. Seven(7) months to close a savings account with just over R2 000 in it? Two years after Covid-19 was lifted on 5 April 2022 and FNB still refers to it as the reason for their back lock of cases and turn over time?
Rekha, your department is either under staff (contract people, to get your department up to date) or *********** (train them, beter their skills and built-in targets to get them more sufficient) or FNB have a culture problem.
Look at your stats, complaints and solve them or are FNB going to be just like all the other service departments of South Africa?
Not that I think this will solve anything!! Shame on you FNB! Please people, take your money where you receive beter service!!!
