Poor poor Service!

Around mid November 2017 I joined FNB as I wasn't quite happy with my existing banking institution. I also app**** for a credit card, of which the application was approved. It took approximately 3 days, until the credit account was loaded to my profile, and I was able to see the credit account on my FNB profile. BUT, FNB had to still call me to finalise the account....which didn't happen. I called the FNB Credit Department around the end of November 2017 to find out what was going on. I was told my account had to be linked, and that I would be contacted soon to finalise the process....which didn't happen. Throughout the whole December I didn't receive any call from FNB. Around the 10th of January 2018, I called FNB again to get an update. I was again told that the account still had to be linked, and a limit still be loaded to the credit account, and (once again) I was told that I would be called soon....which once again didn't happen. I called FNB again on Monday 15 January 2018. I was told that the process is at the credit departement, that my request will be escalated to high priority, and that I would be called back shortly (I also provided a number that they could call me on) When by Wednesday 17 January I was not called back, I decided to call FNB again. I was told that the person I called on the Monday, did not escalate my request, and that my request will nów only be escalated and raised to high priority. By Friday 19 January, I still have not received a call, and so I decided to go into a FNB branch to get the issue resolved. Worst experience ever!...

Upon arrival at the FNB Brooklyn branch, I told the lady at the front desk my story, and asked that she put me on the line with the card department. She called the wrong number 3 times. Eventually getting though, card department again gave me the exact same story....that they still had to link my account, and set the limit to the account. I told myself that I was not going to leave the branch until I get to the point where my account was finalised, and my card was being ordered. I went to the front desk, and got myself a ticket. I was then helped by a lady. I wish I remembered her name because she had so much patience and was quite eager to get the issue resolved. Let's call her "FNB lady".

At first "FNB lady" explained there was nothing she could do, as it was pending with card department. I then insisted to talk to the manager... The manager didn't even great, but instead he was VERY arrogant upon approach, and not willing to help at all. He then just walked off while mumbling something....

At this point I was getting serious that I was not going to leave until my above mentioned

So, the "FNB lady" contacted the card department, and found out that the lady that was supposed to link my account, was on leave... (why is an employees outstanding work while on leave is not being re-routed to colleagues?) So, "FNB lady" then sent a high priority mail to the "leave lady"....and "leave lady" replies back within minutes, explaining she was on leave. "FNB lady" then got on the phone with "leave lady", and after a long discussion, my account was finally linked. BUT, still no active credit account. I told "FNB lady" that I would not leave until my card is at the point of being ordered. I then called the credit department, and insisted that my account be finalised to the point where my card is placed on order. They said that they were unable to help me as the process was now with the credit department, and that they had no number to contact them on, BUT that the credit department would call me back to finalise (which I didn't believe anymore). I explained that this process was now ongoing for almost two months, and that it was completely unacceptable that they leave me in the dark again. I was then put on the phone with a manager from the department, who explained that they really couldn't do anything. He did however said that he would escalate the issue himself, and call me back... I've given up....FNB didn't live up to their "how can we help you".
