Please resolve issue.

FNB DEBIT CARD DISPUTE | ONGOING SINCE NOVEMBER | NO ACCOUNTABILITY

I am posting here because all normal FNB support channels have failed to resolve this matter.

This complaint relates to an FNB debit card dispute for a transaction of R7,759.39 paid to eDreams / Odigeo. The dispute has been ongoing since November / December, and despite submitting ALL requested documents multiple times, there has been no real progress.

The case is assigned to Amanda Bullock in the FNB disputes department. On 23 January 2026 additional documents were requested, including e-tickets, communication with the merchant, cancellation proof, expected delivery information and reasons for the dispute. Every item was provided in full.

Since then:

• Numerous follow-up emails have been sent with little to no response • We have been passed between departments with no ownership taken • Branch staff confirmed they cannot assist because the case is locked to the assigned consultant • The Woodmead branch attempted to contact Amanda Bullock twice while we were physically there and could not reach her • There has been no clear status update, feedback or timeline

This is a debit card dispute, yet months later the matter feels stalled while more and more information is requested without any visible progress.

What we urgently need from FNB:

• Immediate escalation to a senior disputes manager • Written confirmation that all submitted evidence has been reviewed • Clear feedback on the current status of the dispute • A realistic timeline for resolution

We have comp**** with every requirement from FNB since November / December and have made repeated efforts through email and in-branch visits. At this stage the lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.

FNB, please step in and resolve this matter urgently.
