Please DO NOT Close the Teller in Bryanston - PLEASE!

Okay, so my rating here is actually totally misleading but I needed to grab FNB's attention.

I am writing because I heard the teller section of the Bryanston branch in Bryanston shopping centre is going to be shut down and I was extremely unhappy to hear this and strongly urge FNB to reverse what seems like a pedantic business decision that hasn't considered customers properly.

Being a business owner, the teller service at Bryanston has been vital to my business. There is the only branch that has a deposit machine in the branch and in its own private and secure section. Because I deposit significant amounts of cash their regularly this is absolutely necessary for me. I cannot be standing outside the branch making deposits into the machine with the sums I do. That would be completely unsafe for me as a customer. Not one that, but I am there about once a week also getting change for my business and the tellers like Kenotsi and her colleague are always exceptionally helpful, efficient and friendly.

I know for a fact I will not be the only customer very dismayed by this decision. I am always witnessing people doing their large cash business at this teller because of the safety the private room provides and because the tellers are so competent and professional. During the looting, the branch closed and I was forced to search around the city for another branch with a similar teller and there are NONE like that in Nicolway, Rivonia nor Rosebank so eventually I was forced to deposit the cash in the middle of the mall and was very unhappy about it from a safety and convenience point of view. Having this teller is a unique and important part of the Bryanston branch for myself and other business owners.

Honestly, that Bryanston branch with Letty and Portia and Kenotshi at the teller have been the main reason I am so happy I decided to do my business banking with FNB. It's been a 5 star experience so far. Super helpful, great customer service and a great branch that meets all the needs of my business.

Please pass this review on to relevant FNB people. I implore them not to touch the teller at Bryanston, leave it be. It is of great value to the business community around it. Thank you
