PINECREST FNB

For the past 12 years we are constantly having the same issue with FNB. FNB seems to be the best bank so far, I say this I suppose because of the Pavilion branch staff, 95% of whom are very helpful and really try to assist. 12 years ago my husband opened a cheque account at the Pinecrest branch and due to him being unavailable 6 days a week due to work he gave me power of attorney as I handle everything else. We also had his file/profile moved over from Pinecrest to Pavilion, this had to be done 3 to 4 times to date as somehow it goes back to Pinecrest. Our bank cards were requested to be delivered to Pavilion branch as the courier company refuses to speak to me and we ended of having numerous problems for the card not to mention added cost. This is most frustrating. Our cards expire at the end of this month and once again they were delivered to the incorrect branch, this time they were delivered to Pinetown, a branch we never used or use. As frustrating and disappointing this continued problem is I must applaud and thank 2 staff members of the PINECREST branch who to my surprise where very helpful and friendly and assisted in once again changing the branch to Pavilion and having our cards transfered from PINETOWN to PAVILION. Thank you to Mdu Zama and Sagrie Naicker at PINECREST branch, you have given me hope that PINECREST is now a better branch.

On Monday my cards were transfered from Pinetown to Pavilion, even though the staff at Pavilion have been following up on it, the cards have still not arrived there yet, now being Friday at 15:10. Now I also get a message stating I owe FNB R 288 some change on my credit card, R220 for interest. I paid the credit card off in full, actually R6 some change more last month so On what am i being charged interest?

Hi.

On Wednesday 19 January 2022 at around 9:30am my husband and I went into FNB and app**** for a loan. As usual the branch consultant was very helpful. The application was done and we were told we will have a confirmed answer in 30 minutes to an hour. We patiently waited and the day passed, Thursday morning we called to check and were told the loan has been approved but they just need confirmation from me (the spouse) to pay out. I was prepared to go back into the bankso they can see its me and confirm or call them but they refused saying we cannot call them, they will call me within 24 to 48 hours. It's been 3 days since, now into the 4th day. The loan agreement is valid for 5 days before a new one wouldneed to be done and they don't call me nor can we do anything from our side. The call center/customer care number on the agreement and general keeps cutting off either while speaking to someone or before or the automated system transfers you to someone and if they don't pick up or on a call it just cuts off. This is most frustrating and disappointing for a bank that we consider the best thus far. This is ridiculous. Is this FNB's new way of working and communicating with clients?
