Pillar to Post -

Last week I spoke to my banker in regards to a credit card. He informed me of the initial amount that the bank had communicated to him. Shortly after that i sent through all the documentation. Along with the documentation I had attached my Permenant Residency Certificate. Soon after, i was told to sign a foreign national declaration which was actually for temporary residency (which I no longer am). I communicated this to my banker, I was then sent another form - a Declaration Immigration document which I filled in. then I was told that FNB was awaiting feedback from the reserve bank, I have previously had a credit card with FNB but I never went through all these processes which have actually left me very irritaed and disgruntaled. No one has actually called me to explain why these documents are required. Yesterday I was then sent another document to fill in sign (fee letter) then the email stated that I need to courier the document (Declaration Immigration & the Reserve Bank Application For Immigration). Correct me if I am wrong, none of the above indicates that as a "Private Client" I have been treated as such. I have only felt Extremly ostracized and not well cathered for by this process. I am also very Unimpressed at the overall service rendered by FNB Private Ban****!
