Petty Cash

How can we help you...Perhaps you can start by sorting out your petty cash ordering procedure between your call centre and branches. On Friday 06/05/2016 I looked up the number for the Woodmead branch so that I can contact them to place an order for petty cash. The number given frim FNB's site was 087 505..... which I contacted. This was the call centres number, and upon requesting the branch number so that I can place my petty cash order I was told that the procedure is to give the call centre my breakdown, and they will email the branch and the branch will contact me after 24hr to collect the petty cash. "The branches don't take phone calls anymore", I was told. So I placed my order with the call centre. Today 09/05/2016 I phoned the call centre as I have not heard from the branch, only to find out the email procedure explained to me on Friday is not correct, and that the call centre can't help me with my petty cash ordering. So eventually I managed to get the number for Woodmead branch, and guess what, they never received a petty cash order from the call centre. So now I have to wait another 24hr for a measly R3500 petty cash order. I know there are rules for petty cash as I also used to work in a teller environment, but following the processes as stipulated by your call centre only to realise that it was all for nothing is extremely poor, and then the branch doesn't seem eager to assist anyway, after I explained that the petty cash was ordered on Friday already.

So here is a suggestion - since FNB is so focussed on online and simplifying processes for its customers, why not get your online banking developers to build a petty cash ordering interface for business online customers, then I can capture the denoms and select the branch I want to collect the petty cash from. This is how you can help me.
